blog# 9 Nussbaum
The central human functional capabilities can be summarizes as Nussbaum stated on his easy “The Central Human Capabilities” which are the following life, bodily health, integrity, senses, imagination, thought, emotion, practical, affiliation, share life with other species, and control over one’s environment. If anyone take a look and think about those capabilities that Nussbaum mentioned, it will not be hard to agree with hem because we all done these functions but for most of the time we do not stop and think about every single thing we do. From those human capabilities some of them are so basic that they do not need an explanation like life, health, imagination, thought, share life with other species and senses. We all know and practice those capabilities on our every day life and we have done each one of them. On the other hand some of those capabilities are not common or well-known to every one of us and there is a need for explaining or talk about them, there for I will try to clarify the once that are in need to explanations. For example integrity; why do need integrity? Integrity is honesty therefore if we do not have honesty on our life every thing will be destroy because without honesty no one will do his or her job and that included teachers doctors and everyone else. And the most important thing that all human do is the environmental adaption which means that humans adapt to different environments for instance the pupils of your eyes dilate when you walk into a dark room.

The primary goods that people need in any society are freedom, Security, and justice. The first need that all people need and insist to have is freedom. Every person in all societies required freedom as the first primary need for all the valuable reasons that freedom have. In a society that respects other people freedom individuals will enjoy themselves and express their feeling without worrying about any punishment. Also in a free society each person gets to choose their own religion beliefs and has the right to make his or her own chooses of living with no interfere from other individuals or the government. The second need for societies is security which is the need to feel safe. In a society security and peace are very impotent to all people who live on that place. In a peaceful and securer country persons get to practice their freedom and feel safe. The third and most important need for a society is justice. In order for people to become one society who share the same interests, shared institutions, and a common culture; they have to belief and enforce justice and equality. Justice is the most important factor in any society because a lot of people will not continues to live in an unjust society. People will leave that society in one way or another and look for a society that will treat them fairly. When there is justice in the society every one will grantee that he or she will have their rights respected as individuals.

Throughout history women had suffered from a lot of unjust law that discriminated against them. The law had discriminated against women for many years; therefore there are some people who fights for all women right that they enjoy today. Based on the writing of Stanton we could conclude that women were treated unfair from men for a long time. Women did not have the right to elective franchise. At that time the women did not had the right to vote or have the right to state their opinion. Also the women did not have any representations on the government for so many years and that help men to keep ignoring the rights of women. Moreover when women use to get married they were treated badly if as they were owned by them. From what I understood that men were also allowed to take their women’s wages and they can not do anything to stop them. Furthermore the men were the one who formed the law of divorce. More then there were a lot of traditional that took many of the women’s rights. Some of those traditions become well known so people start to belief on them as if they were laws. For example women use to do all the house work like cleaning, cooking, and take care of the children. Those were some of the factors that made women los there rights. From the reading basically someone can conclude that women had not rights at the time.

blog #6 DR. king
There were many kinds of injustice that martin Luther king found in the city of Birmingham. From most of the history books and as it is been common knowledge to most of the people in the Unite State; that Alabama was one of the worst states in racism and government discriminations against Africans Americans before the civil rights movement. Moreover the city was going through a huge segregation between black and white as DR. King described “Birmingham is probably the most thoroughly segregated city in the Unite State” (King 175). From those issues if any person took segregation be itself it will be a huge problem and people should fight against it. But that was not the only problem at that time; Africans Americans were suffering from gross unfair treatment in court and on all other public place. Also as it was indicated in the letter that there were bombing in some of the homes of the Africans Americans that have not look at from the city government on Birmingham. Furthermore there were a lot of stores that had racial signs on there doors and the government did not bother to ask those businesses to remove the signs. Therefore DR. King had to face these unfair treatments on a peaceful way, smart way that will give them all there rights without any civil war or violence. But this fight it was not simple because for most parts the Africans Americans were suffering from discriminations that are based on the law of the land.

blog # 5 "Civil Disobedience"
Individuals have huge responsibilities when their government is wrong. First, every person on the world who loves his or her country should feel responsible when their government is not doing its purpose to serve the country and the people or the right things. Second, there are many things or actions that a person can do to force his or her government to go back to the right track which is taken care of the problems within the country plus protects the individual’s rights and freedoms. These actions will be different from country to another but individuals should define the appropriate steps that he or she should do to help the entire county to move forward by doing the right thing. For example in the United State an individual can do one of the following steps to influence the government decision. First, a person can contact his or her representative in the government by phone, mail or electronic and let them know what is the wrong thing that the government is making and why he or she disagrees. This is one way to face the mistakes of the government but if this way did not work a person could writ articles that will wake up more people or let them know what is the wrong thing that the government is doing and these articles can be published by newspapers, internet or some time talk about in the TV news. If the above two methods did not work, this person can go to the sperm court and make a case against the government or people in charge.
