blog # 5 "Civil Disobedience"
Individuals have huge responsibilities when their government is wrong. First, every person on the world who loves his or her country should feel responsible when their government is not doing its purpose to serve the country and the people or the right things. Second, there are many things or actions that a person can do to force his or her government to go back to the right track which is taken care of the problems within the country plus protects the individual’s rights and freedoms. These actions will be different from country to another but individuals should define the appropriate steps that he or she should do to help the entire county to move forward by doing the right thing. For example in the United State an individual can do one of the following steps to influence the government decision. First, a person can contact his or her representative in the government by phone, mail or electronic and let them know what is the wrong thing that the government is making and why he or she disagrees. This is one way to face the mistakes of the government but if this way did not work a person could writ articles that will wake up more people or let them know what is the wrong thing that the government is doing and these articles can be published by newspapers, internet or some time talk about in the TV news. If the above two methods did not work, this person can go to the sperm court and make a case against the government or people in charge.

i understand what you are saying and one person can make a difference. but when you have government like the one we have that one person isnt even a factor when it comes to standing up to the government.
I do believe that it should be taken to the supreme court, and he really didn't think about the sacrifices that he had to make, and he said he wants more people with moral goodness which is very true.
I like the idea that one person can make an impact in the world. People need to start caring again, like they did back during Vietnam. It was a horrible time but looking at it so many more young people felt powerful and tried to change the government. It's too bad that so many young people and people in general today have given up on changing the world.
I agree with you that individuals have a responsibility to correct their government, and the more individuals that care, the more people join in and make a point.
